Mesothelioma is a cancer that develops from the mesothelium cells (a protective lining that covers the many of the internal organs of the body) usually caused by exposure to asbestos substance. Chest wall pain, pleural effusion or fluid surrounding the lungs, fatique or anaemia, wheezing, hoarseness or cough, blood in the sputum (fluid) coughed up (haemoptysis). 

In severe cases, the mesothelioma patient may develop many tumor masses like a pneumothorax or collapse of the lungs. If it spreads to other parts of the body, like tumor affecting the abdominal cavity, symptoms may include abdominal pain, ascites or an abnormal buildup of fluid in the abdomen, a mass in the abdomen, a problem with bowel function, weight loss. 

Other symptoms may include blood clots in the veins, which may cause thrombophlebitis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, a disorder causing severe bleeding in many body organs, jaundice, or yellowing of the eyes and skin, low blood sugar level, pleural effusion, pulmonary emboli, or blood clots in the arteries of the lungs, severe ascites.
